These wonderful people rescue Peis not just in Canada, but also across the US. The adopt out to folks in Canada and the US as well. Menchi's litter sister Annabel has an adopted brother that was rescued by the Vancouver Shar Pei Rescue.
Rocky Ridge Refuge
This place is owned and maintained by a wonderful lady named Janice Wolf. She has in her care a variety of animals, including some capybaras, a zebra, various dogs, horses, pigs, and other species.

A Rotta Love
Located in Minnesota this rescue concentrates their efforts on Rottweilers and some of the most adorable pit bulls you will ever see.
Illinois Doberman Rescue
I know someone that fosters for this rescue. Along with dobes they also rescue a variety of other dogs, cats, and occasionally guinea pigs and other small fuzzies.

The French Bulldog Rescue Network
We have a soft spot for French Bulldogs in my house, so I really love this rescue. I have a met a few of them. They have a booth every year at our annual dog fair here in Madison.
Dane County Humane Society
This is our very own shelter here in Madison. They do a lot of good work! There are outreach programs, public education, lots of wonderful fundraising events, and much more.
Oldies but Goodies Cocker Resue
I have a soft spot for this rescue as well. I had cocker spaniels for much of my life. It makes me happy that there is folk out there dedicated to helping a breed that will forever hold a place in my heart.
