Picture Time: The Puppy Pile Edition

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That is right, the time of year for basenji puppies to be born. Miss Sabrina has once again put her dainty paws (and other body parts) to providing us with an adorable litter of 5 puppies to socialize. Laura must be so proud of her girl! Sabrina spend most of the year showing her little heart out and is a silver Grand Champion. Her pups from last year a following in her foot steps and all have started their show careers successfully. Way to go Laura and Laurel Basenjis :)

Now here is the part you are waiting for delightful baby basenji pictures. The litter just turned 3 weeks old. That means we have open eyes and they are starting to explore their world just a bit.

The Secret Santa Edition

Hey everybody :)

Every year around the Holidays we do a Secret Santa exchange with other dog people from the Chaz dog message board. Today our package arrived and the dogs had a blast poking at their Christmas gifts. Despite the cameras best efforts to fail at this, since it felt there was not enough light in the room, I managed to get at least some pictorial evidence of the fun.

The Curly Tails got quite the haul this year. Their Secret Santa did most awesome. There were lots of work to eat toys in  the package. Also Menchi's favorite treats in the world... Bison Jerky! The stuffed moose was the undisputed star of the package though!
