Greetings from the Arctic Circle!

So it is the middle of a very frozen March here. The dogs have a good case of cabin fever by now and we are still buried in mounds of snow. As a matter of fact it snowed some more today... At least our temperatures have let up some. Over the past few weeks we had some days of blistering cold. It got as low as -50ish due to windchill. Watson did not approve!

As I mentioned previously I am going to add some of my other interests to this blog in an attempt to post more often. So this will be my first art project post.

I have not had a lot of time to devote to my arting lately and that has been a very sad thing. I finally found some time to play with some clay over the last couple of weekends though and here is the result for you.

Hints of something bearly (haha) there!

It becomes more formed.

There are about 4 layers of the white paint on this guy.

Beginning with some face details in grey and black.

Adding shading in gray and off-white.

Finished with two layers of satin protective coat.
