So last weekend was the annual Basenji Club Picnic. As was the case the last couple of years the event took place at
Lure Coursing Fanatics in Somers, WI.
We had a really great turnout this year, and fantastic weather. Menchi was sad that she could not just stay out on the course and chase the lure all afternoon. She did not seem impressed that all the other little dogs wanted a turn to chase the bunny too.
Both her and Watson got to run three times throughout the day though...so they got to course plenty.
Also someone came by with a litter of wee Chinese Crested pups, and we all got to snuggle them :)
